Deutsche Bank Joins Singapore’s Project Guardian Asset Tokenization Project
Deutsche Bank, one of the world’s leading financial service providers, has joined Singapore’s Project Guardian. The project is a tokenization endeavor, an integration of traditional and digital assets onto a single platform, initiated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Singapore Exchange (SGX). Tokenization is the process of converting rights to real-world assets into a digital token on a blockchain.
Project Guardian aims to simplify the issuance and trading of tokenized assets, reduce associated costs, and promote a more inclusive financial ecosystem. As a participant, Deutsche Bank will provide valuable insights and expertise to facilitate the project’s development. The partnership could expedite the adoption of tokenized assets and blockchain technology in traditional financial markets.
