See fireballs in the sky when the Southern Taurid meteor shower peaks this weekend

The Southern Taurid meteor shower will peak this weekend, and while the activity will be modest, skywatchers may still spot a few bright fireballs in the night sky. The Taurids are known for producing very bright meteors, though the shower is generally not as active as other popular meteors showers like the Perseids and the Geminids. The best time to observe the Taurids is after midnight local time in the early morning hours. Look toward the north-northeast part of the sky to try and spot a few of the meteors.
