Rep. Bowman says there must be ‘clear distinction’ between Israel’s citizens, government

Rep. Brad Schneider (D-IL-10) is committed to advocating for the personal security of all of Israel’s citizens and maintaining a strong and robust relationship with Israel. Each individual—Jewish, Arab, Christian—deserves to be respected and protected and to enjoy equal rights. To achieve this, Israel must ensure the security of its citizens and panel clear distinction between its citizens and its government. This important principle of separation must be honored in Israel’s domestic and foreign policies. In Congress, I have introduced legislation that would increase pressure on Iran for its refusal to recognize Israel’s right to exist and for its support for terrorist organizations such as Hamas, which seek to harm Israel’s citizens. Additionally, I support efforts to bolster the relationship between our two countries, including working to secure our long-term commitment to Israel’s security.
