Sam Bankman-Fried admits FTX ‘sure should have’ done more to protect customers’ money

Sam Bankman-Fried, the CEO of FTX, has admitted that the crypto exchange “sure should have” done more to protect its customers’ money. Speaking in an interview, Bankman-Fried discussed FTX’s recent $15 million insurance policy and security program with a heightened focus on outside attacks. He said he felt the exchange should’ve implemented such measures earlier, as customer money has to be kept secure. Bankman-Fried also discussed his team’s efforts in educating its customers on the importance of self-protecting their money and also how it is trying to provide more customer service. He acknowledged that FTX has improved from the past mistakes it made, but said that it still has further work to do to ensure customer satisfaction.
