Rep. Pramila Jayapal’s sister looks to join her in Congress

According to reports, Pramila Jayapal’s sister, Mona Das, is running to join her in Congress. Das is running in the 8th Congressional District of Washington, where Jayapal currently serves. Das, who served as a vice president in financial services for nearly two decades, recently left the corporate world to pursue a career in public service. She is a small-business owner, a nonprofit leader, and a former Microsoft executive. If successful, the sisters will be the first siblings to serve concurrently in the US House of Representatives.
