Shani Louk, 23-year-old kidnapped by Hamas from music festival, declared dead, Israel says
Shani Louk, a 23-year-old Israeli student, has been declared dead after being kidnapped by the militant group Hamas. Louk was last seen at the Beach Club near the Israeli city of Ashkelon in July 2019. Hamas claimed it had abducted Louk at the music festival.
The Israeli government has held Hamas responsible for her death and recently issued a statement claiming that “Shani Louk is deceased.” It did not provide any details as to the circumstances of her death.
